Marisa Kim, OD

Dr. Marisa Kim was born and raised on the island of Oahu. She is a residency-trained

optometrist who started her career serving the Navajo and Zuni Indian population in rural New

Mexico through the Indian health Services. She then joined a large private practice, which

allowed her to continue to provide much needed eye care to a small town on the border of the

Navajo and Zuni reservations. Providing care to underserved communities had been a privilege

and incredibly fulfilling part of her life. After becoming a mother to two children, it was time to

bring her children home to be raised alongside family. She is certified to use therapeutic

pharmaceutical agents and provides comprehensive eye exams to all ages, contact lens fittings,

and diagnoses and manages ocular disease.
